The Opportunity
Build the institution, not only the technology.
HSB Infotech began with the opportunity to build a technology company capable of supporting large, complex enterprise environments. Reaching that ambition required more than developing software or winning projects. The company needed a complete institutional foundation: technology capabilities, delivery processes, client relationships, workforce systems, management structures, reporting, governance, and a culture of execution.
As Director for more than two years, Chintan held overall, enterprise-wide responsibility for helping turn that early operation into a company capable of delivering reliably through thousands of people.
The Mandate
One leadership view across the whole operating system.
The role was not confined to a single function. It connected commercial priorities, technical decisions, workforce capacity, client commitments, and delivery performance within one operating model.
- Business strategy and organizational growth
- SaaS and enterprise solution development
- Telecom and fintech delivery
- Recruitment and workforce expansion
- Client engagement and account execution
- Technology architecture and infrastructure
- Quality, reporting, and operational governance
- Leadership development and team alignment
The Operating System
Turning rapid growth into repeatable execution.
Growth creates complexity faster than capability unless the operating system grows with it. Chintan helped establish the company's operating spine: clear roles, management layers, delivery workflows, review cadences, escalation paths, performance reporting, and ownership across functions.
This created a more dependable execution chain and enabled the organization to take on larger engagements without making delivery dependent on informal coordination or individual heroics.
Workforce at Scale
Building coordinated capability across 6,000+ people.
Scaling the workforce required an institutional approach to recruitment, assessment, onboarding, training, allocation, management, and performance. People needed to operate across different technologies, client environments, industries, and levels of responsibility while maintaining consistent delivery standards.
The objective was not simply to add headcount. It was to build a workforce system in which thousands of people could contribute to coordinated enterprise outcomes.
Technology & Delivery
Connecting SaaS, telecom, fintech, and enterprise IT.
HSB Infotech developed and delivered solutions across SaaS, telecom, fintech, and large-scale enterprise IT. These environments demanded scalable architecture, dependable infrastructure, security, integration, quality control, and disciplined support.
Chintan's enterprise-wide position allowed technology teams, business priorities, workforce capacity, and client commitments to be aligned as parts of the same institution rather than as isolated functions.
The Outcome
From a standing start to institutional scale and acquisition.
HSB Infotech grew from the ground up into a technology organization with more than 6,000 employees. Its scale reflected the creation of valuable technology capabilities, enterprise relationships, delivery infrastructure, workforce systems, and institutional knowledge.
The strength and scale of the organization ultimately led to its acquisition by Wipro—validating a company built to create value beyond its original structure.
Scale is not created by adding people. It is created by building a system in which thousands of people can execute with clarity, accountability, and shared direction.
